Hybrid Courses

A hybrid or blended course is one in which 50%-74% of the contact time (directly faculty instruction) takes place in an online environment. All online content is contained in a learning management system that requires a College-supplied log-in. The instructor and students meet synchronously at a set day, time, and place. The synchronous meeting must be in a traditional face-to-face setting. All hybrid courses will be evaluated using the online course evaluation rubric. Any instructor wishing to teach a course as hybrid must complete an application for approval.
