Addendum - Unpaid Accounts and Business Holds

[Addendum to Catalog 2020–2021: Financial Aid and Financial Information: Tuition and Fees: Unpaid Accounts and Business Holds. Published 2020.10.30.]

Students with unpaid balances with the College will have a HOLD placed on their account. A HOLD means the College will not issue degrees, transcripts, employment placement credentials, financial aid, final grade reports, or statements of honorable dismissal. Students are also not permitted to register for subsequent terms once a HOLD has been placed on an account.

Students who fail to pay any balance due at the specified time may be administratively withdrawn from the College. Delinquent accounts may be transferred to a collection agency; fees for this service will be added to students' accounts.

Students with unpaid balances who have not made payment arrangements with the College may have their Moodle access suspended. A suspension will remain on the student's account until the balance is paid in full or a payment plan has been agreed upon.

[inserted langauge 2020.10.30] During the time in which Moodle access is suspended, faculty have the purview to uphold late work policies, as stated in course syllabi. Faculty are not required to provide special allowances to accommodate students during the period that Moodle access is suspended. [end insert]

If payment in full or a payment plan are not completed within five days of the suspension, the student may be administratively withdrawn from courses.
