Requirement Notes
OFT101: Students who touch type 35 wpm or more and have knowledge of Microsoft Word 2010 may waive OFT101 and register for OFT102. The credits for OFT101 may be fulfilled with a 3-credit OPEN elective.
OFT114: A minimum grade of C- is required to graduate from this program and to meet OFT prerequisites.
LAD Directed Electives: Students must select one (1) of the following Directed electives: RES104 - Real Estate Law, PLG104 - Criminal Law and Procedures or PLG205 - Computer Applications for the Law Office.

Program Information
- OFT courses are offered primarily during the day at the Lynn Campus.
- Students may apply the credits earned in this program toward the course requirements for an Associate degree in Legal Administrative Assistant (LAD).
- Students are strongly urged to meet with their academic advisor on a semester basis or as needed to review the prerequisites of each course within the program and discuss course selections for successful completion of this program.
- Simultaneous awarding of Certificate and Degree policy: Certificates whose coursework is embedded in an Associate’s degree program will not be awarded simultaneously in the same term as the degree is awarded; i.e. Legal Administrative Assistant(LAD) and Office Support Certificate(OFC) or Legal Office Support Certificate(LOS).
