ENGL 360 Shakespeare
An introduction to the dramatic works of Shakespeare emphasizing Elizabethan-Jacobean knowledge of the universe and the human being, the stage conventions of the time, etc. Tragedies, comedies, and histories are studied with consideration of applications, materials, and approaches appropriate for secondary-level teaching. The course will be presented in seminar or tutorial format. Pre-requisite: English 120 or instructor's consent. Spring on campus odd years; Spring online odd years.
