ENGL 352 British Literature II
Beginning with the Romantics, and concluding with post-colonialism, a chronological survey of the development of British literature, focusing on canonical works by women as well as men, read in their entirety, and providing historical and cultural contexts. Texts investigated include ones liable to be taught on the secondary level, making the course valuable to prospective teachers.
