ENGL 340 Literature Of Non-Western Wrld

This course surveys literature written from a non-Western perspective. It explores the contemporary relevance ideas and cultures seen in extant pre- and post colonial works written by non-western writers. Selected works for study may include African, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, or Middle-Eastern authors. Literary forms may include folktales, novels, and poetry. Pre-Requisite: ENGL 110. Spring on campus odd years. (IT Certificate Level III)
