Explore the use of beer in the preparation and pairing of food. Includes experimentation and tasting in a hands-on environment. Also learn to identify the characteristics of food and match them with complementary beer.

Outcomes

Students will apply their knowledge of food preparation and beer characteristics. The student will analyze characteristics the pairing of food and beer in a series of tasting. Generally accepted standards for pairing food and beer with be presented. Student will learn how to pair beer with new food trends.
