Printing Costs
At the beginning of each of the fall and spring terms all students are given an allotment of up to 500 pages (maximum of $25) for printing. Up to 250 pages (maximum of $12.50) are provided for the summer term.
The costs per page are as follows:
-
$.05 per page for black & white single-sided
-
$.07 per page for black & white double-sided
-
$.10 per page for color single-sided
-
$.14 per page for color double-sided
All printers accessible to students through the Papercut print solution will track print usage. Once a student has reached their printing limit for the term, they will be charged for each additional page printed until the start of the next term.
If a student does not use their allotment of free pages for the fall term, the remainder of their free pages will “roll over” and be added to the spring term allotment of pages. At the start of every fall term, regardless of how many free pages a student may have remaining, the number of free pages will be reset to 500 pages. Likewise, for the summer term, all student balances will be reset and given 250 free pages for that term.
Students may log in to the print web portal (through AccessFUS or print.franciscan.edu), to view their remaining page balance. Any usage above the allotted amount will be charged to a student’s account at the end of each semester.
