Business Office - Cashier

  • Check Cashing - Personal checks may be cashed for up to $50 with proper identification at the Student Services Counter in Starvaggi Hall.
  • Financial Responsibility - Prior to each academic semester, Enrollment Services Student Accounts, with the cooperation of Financial Aid, sends a billing packet to each student. The fall semester due date is July 15; the spring semester due date is December 15. Transcripts will not be released until all financial obligations to the University have been met. All questions should be referred to the Enrollment Services Student Accounts Office.
  • Refunds - Refunds at the beginning of each semester are issued the third Friday after classes start. Refunds throughout the remainder of the semester are issued every Tuesday and Friday unless that day is or follows a holiday. Refunds not picked up within 10 days will be mailed to the legal home address on record.

Financial Aid

  • General Questions and Appointments - The Enrollment Services Office is open from 9:00 am to noon and from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
  • Financial Aid Applications (FAFSA) - Available online at fafsa.gov. To receive timely financial aid, if eligible, the FAFSA form should be submitted to the Federal Processor by April 1.
  • Scholarships - Franciscan University’s scholarship information and application for returning students are available online from Thanksgiving until the last business day in January. These are Funded Scholarships and have specific requirements for each scholarship. Students beginning in the spring semester are also eligible to apply for these scholarships.
