Commuter Experience
Commuter students who live locally and commute to campus for classes make up a significant percentage of the University’s student population. Commuter students are welcomed and encouraged to participate in campus events, student organizations, intramural teams, and household life. The J.C. Williams Center and the Assisi Heights Community Center are available for commuter students to relax, socialize, recreate, eat, and study between their classes. The Commuter Student Association (CSA) works to integrate commuters into campus life and activities. For more information on com- muter student issues and activities, please contact Tina Greathouse, CSA advisor, at 740-284-5358 or tgreathouse@ franciscan.edu.
