NRS 2000 HEALTHCARE RELATIONSHIPS I: DISPARITY, DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION
This winter-term course will be taught on campus and include eight days in community healthcare settings that reflect diversity. This course will focus on relationship-centered healthcare practice and will provide opportunities for global engagement, service and clinical learning, and reflection through a combination of activities. This course will also address issues related to wellness in healthcare providers, initiating the development of resiliency and commitment to life-long self-care. Students in this course are required to travel locally and participate actively in the community. This participation includes community-driven service in collaboration with a community partner(s)/organization.
