Employment Opportunities: As the large baby-boom population ages and people remain active later in life, the healthcare industry as a whole will see an increase in the demand for medical services. Subsequently, employment opportunities for healthcare office and administrative support staff are expected to grow. The Healthcare Billing and Reimbursement Assistant certificate will prepare students to compile and maintain records of charges for procedures and services provided in physician’s offices, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities.
