NURS 3545 Medical-Surgical and Complex Care Nursing I
This course focuses on health promotion, risk reduction, illness prevention, and disease management in the care of adults with commonly occurring chronic, acute and complex health problems. The course builds on the role of the nurse as a member of the inter-professional team and focuses on facilitating recovery from specific diseases and injuries.
Prerequisite
Successful completion of previous level BSN courses for corresponding track is required.
