METR 3310 Radar Meteorology
The course explores the physics of the primary ground-based remote sensors used for operational monitoring of the atmospher. The capabilities and limitations of the various systems covered will be studied to determine their impact on applications. Remote sensors covered will be meteorological radar and wind profilers.
