SPAN 595 Special Topics in SPANISH

This is a special topics course. The topic Introduces students to novels, short stories, essays and films that portray main urban centers in Latin America. Discusses issues raised by the representation of Mexico City, Medellin, Buenos Aires, Lima, and Santiago. Focuses on topics such as: violence, urban isolationn, globalizatiio, political upheavals, migration, and collective memory.
