THR 24000 Advanced Acting
This advanced-level course introduces the student to accelerated techniques and also to classical works, including Shakespeare. Students will learn how to communicate and to perform effectively and at a higher level. Students will train in use of classical language, voice and movement. Attention is given to textual analysis of the language/themes to promote cultural awareness, explore historical viewpoints and enhance performance capabilities. The course culminates in a final presentation.
