CST 10700 Introduction to Public Speaking - Honors

This class introduces students to the principles and effective practices of oral communication in a variety of settings with emphasis on speaking clearly, effectively, substantively and with purpose for a given audience. Topics include communication theory, listening, interviewing, and effective public speaking techniques. A research paper or project will be required.
