Program Description:
The degree provides students with a broad education to interpret and understand their roles as professionals in industry and society. Students will demonstrate initiative, leadership, teamwork and effective communication skills.
Program Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:
- Identify, formulate and solve basic engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science and mathematics
- Demonstrate analytical abilities and critical thinking skills in solving engineering problems
- Apply basic skills of the engineering design process to produce solutions to engineering problems
- Demonstrate ability to conduct experiments and analyze data utilizing scientific reasoning to interpret results
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills with a diverse group of people
