BIO 25000 Pathophysiology

This course is intended to introduce students to the biological basis of human disease and alterations in physiology as a result of a disease.  Physiologic alterations will be discussed at the genetic, cellular, tissue, organ and systemic level.  Mechanisms of disease across the lifespan will be explored.  Hypothetical patient data will be assessed to determine probable causes of disease and potential solutions.

BIO 105 and BIO 106 or BIO 107 and BIO 109 or BIO 110 and BIO 111 or BIO 207
