BIO 20700 Microbiology

The study of the structure and function of microorganisms. Areas of emphasis will include: microbial morphology and nomenclature; growth and reproduction; enzymology; cellular bioenergetics; biochemical activities; clinical microbiology encompassing microbial control, immunology and disease processes.

Prerequisite

(BIO 105 and BIO 106) or (BIO 107 and BIO 109) or (BIO 110 and BIO 111) with a grade of C or higher
