SOC 212 Sociology of Deviant Behavior

This course explores the question of what society considers deviant behavior. Topics include predatory acts directed against persons and property (including murder, rape and robbery) and alternative lifestyles in marriage and sexual behavior. Attention is given to the relationship between deviance and conformity in a rapidly changing society.
