Professional Pilot Technology, Associate in Science (Veterans Affairs (VA) Funding Pending Approval)
The Associate in Science in Professional Pilot Technology degree program offers a sequence of courses that provides coherent and rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards and relevant technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare for further education and careers in the Transportation Distribution and Logistics career cluster; provides technical skill proficiency, and includes competency-based applied learning that contributes to the academic knowledge, higher-order reasoning and problem-solving skills, work attitudes, general employability skills, technical skills, and occupation-specific skills, and knowledge of all aspects of the Transportation Distribution and Logistics career cluster.
Pasco-Hernando State College’s associate in science in professional pilot technology degree program focuses on the community's need for a highly-skilled, well-trained, and technically-competent aviation workforce that is designed to prepare students for employment in aviation fields as pilots.
PHSC will offer a certificate that can be earned and applied to the associate in science degree in professional pilot technology.
