HSA 3422 Regulation and Compliance in Health Care
This course is an exploration of the many entities that regulate health care delivery—from local, state and federal government to the accreditation agencies of health care organizations. Issues and methods for compliance with many laws and regulations are examined. The course provides an overview of the impact of regulatory agencies on the operation of health care facilities. Corporate ethics and responsibilities and the operation of health care as a business is explored.
