COP 2040 Programming for Cybersecurity
Basic scripting concepts are advanced into Python programming language used to protect and defend the cyber domain. Python programming language is utilized to mine metadata, automate attacks and forensic analysis; the programming language of choice by penetration testers. The hands-on course will allow students to gain knowledge of Python scripting concepts and use critical thinking skills to apply Python scripts to port scanning, packet sniffing packet injections, and analysis.
