NUR 4827 Principles of Leadership and Management in Nursing
This course will explore theories of leadership and management as it applies to professional nursing practice. Emphasis will be placed on assigned task roles related to: delegation, conflict resolution, professional networking, quality performance indicators, staffing pattern assignments, case management, strategic planning, budgeting and group dynamics. Identification of professional nursing roles along with delineation of requirements for certification and advanced practice will be reviewed.
