Program Learning Outcomes
Graduates of the Master of Health Science in Functional and Integrative Nutrition program will be able to:
- Generate whole-person, patient-centered nutrition care plans using functional and integrative medicine core principles.
- Effectively interpret and incorporate information from evidence-based reports and research to inform personalized treatment plans.
- Evaluate and apply business principles in the context of operating a successful integrative nutrition practice, medicine practice or within an organization.
- Integrate and apply nutrition, metabolism, clinical research, and culinary fundamentals into integrative medicine patient-care plans.
- Evaluate behavioral science models and integrate motivational psychology approaches in development of successful health plans and programs.
- Demonstrate knowledge of and commitment to ongoing adherence to ethical and professional standards.
