Professional Licensure, Registration, or Certification

In the AAS radiologic technology program, students learn to interact with patients, interpret physician orders, apply principles of radiation safety and operate radiographic equipment. Programs that have earned approval from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) meet professional standards. At the completion of this approved program, graduates will be eligible to sit for the national ARRT registry exam. Once registered, graduates may seek to obtain licensure that may be required to work in specific states.
