NUR.5110 Advanced Pathophysiology

This course focuses on pathophysiological concepts and processes related to the health care of populations across the life span. This course will examine common pathophysiologic processes and related theoretical, research-based, scientific knowledge of frequently encountered primary care conditions. Advanced practice nursing students will have the chance to analyze the risk factors, pathophysiological changes, and associated clusters of signs and symptoms of these conditions in depth and apply this knowledge into clinical practice to provide advanced nursing care to diverse populations.
