EDAD.5205 Careers in Higher Education
This course will serve as an introduction to the field of higher education and student affairs (HESA) by providing a context for Higher Education as a profession by delving into the history, philosophy, organization, function of units, and current issues, and different campus environments and institutional types. An emphasis will be put on professional development and networking through the use of guest speakers from the field and assignments focused on career development and getting connected with professionals in the field.
