Dual Enrollment Program
Laredo College has partnered with local school districts to provide eligible high school students with the opportunity to earn college credits before high school graduation. Courses offered for dual enrollment must be identified by LC as college level academic courses and will merge Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) with college level competencies. In order to meet eligibility, students must satisfy the minimum standards under the provisions of the Texas Success Initiative or through waivers and exemptions allowed by the state. In addition, the student must meet all the college’s regular prerequisite requirements designated for the dual enrollment course.
