  1. Three hours of Mathematics are required and can be satisfied by selecting any one course from the following:

    MATH 1314, MATH 1316, MATH 1324, MATH 1332, MATH 1342, MATH 2412, or MATH 2413.

    (Note: MATH 2412 and MATH 2413 have course pre-requisites. Students should seek a student success advisor or transfer institution (university) when selecting mathematics options to satisfy their degree plan.)

  2. Three hours of Creative Arts are required and can be satisfied by selecting any one course from the following:

    ARTS 1301, ARTS 1303, ARTS 1304, DANC 2303, DRAM 1310, MUSI 1306, or MUSI 1310.

  3. Six hours of Life and Physical Science are required and can be satisfied by selecting any two courses from the following:

    BIOL 1306, BIOL 1307, BIOL 1308, BIOL 1309, BIOL 1311, BIOL 1313, BIOL 2301, BIOL 2302, BIOL 2306, CHEM 1305, CHEM 1311, CHEM 1312, ENGR 1201, GEOL 1301, GEOL 1303, GEOL 1305, PHYS 1301, PHYS 1302, PHYS 1315, PHYS 1410, PHYS 1417, PHYS 2325, or PHYS 2326.

    (Note: Corresponding labs for science lectures are not considered core curriculum requirements. However, student is strongly encouraged to verify if lab component is required for his/her program of study since most universities require labs, especially for science majors. Student must contact transfer institution prior to registering or deferring to register for any science lab component.)

  4. Three hours of Language, Philosophy, or Culture are required and can be satisfied by selecting any one course from the following:

    ENGL 2322, ENGL 2323, ENGL 2326, ENGL 2327, ENGL 2328, ENGL 2332, ENGL 2333, or ENGL 2351.

  5. Three hours of Social and Behavioral Science are required and can be satisfied by selecting any one course from the following:

    ECON 2301, ECON 2302, PSYC 2301, PSYC 2306, PSYC 2308, PSYC 2314, PSYC 2317, SOCI 1301, SOCI 1306, SOCW 2361, or SOCW 2362.

    (Note: ECON 2302 requires completion of ECON 2301.)

  6. Six hours of an Institutional Designated Option are required and can be satisfied by selecting any two courses from the following:

    BCIS 1305, COSC 1301, COSC 1436, KINE 1164, KINE 1238, KINE 1304, SPCH 1311, and/or SPCH 1315.

  7. Eighteen hours of field of study elective courses are required. These are based on student’s declared major and transfer institution (university). Student is strongly encouraged to consult with an academic or faculty advisor for appropriate field of study electives.
