LCC Student ID Cards
Laredo Community College identification cards are issued to students enrolled in semester length and quarter length courses. Student identification cards may be obtained at the Office of Student Life. Students should carry the card at all times and be prepared to show the card, when requested, to an LCC police officer or college official. The card has the student’s photograph and other identification information.
To obtain an LCC student ID card, the student must:
- Request and ID card on formal registration days, at the Kazen Student Center Room 214 and the at the LCC South Campus, William N. 'Billy' Hall, Jr. Student Center room A108 after paying tuition and fees. Students are entitled to one free ID card per academic year. A validation sticker will be issued for all continuing students who had previously been issued an ID card.
- Present proof of being registered to obtain or validate an ID card for the current semester.
- Be aware that an ID card/badge may be issued to students in special programs by the Office of Student Life for a specific period of time upon request by the appropriate college officer. The Program Director or designee is responsible for collecting ID cards/badges at end of term.
- Be aware that only one ID card/badge may be issued to a student per semester . If the student loses their ID card/badge the student must pay $3.00 at Bursar's Office to obtain replacement ID card/badge.
The ID card must be available for use as needed in the Libraries, Bursar’s Office, The Learning Enrichment Centers, Testing Facilities, College Bookstore, Gymnasium, Student Financial Aid & Veterans Services Center, Open Computer Labs, Swimming Pool and for other student services requested.
Lending the ID card to anyone subjects the holder to disciplinary action and forfeiture of the ID card and privileges. The ID card becomes void upon withdrawal from Laredo Community College.
Students who have a name change should immediately report the change to the Office of Admission and Registrars and obtain a new ID card. The ID card will be issued at no extra cost.
Students who lose their ID card within the academic year will be charged a $3.00 fee for the issuance of a new card.
