Offered summers at N.J. Marine Sciences Consortium field stations. A study of the diversity of patterns of physiological adaptation displayed by the different invertebrate groups. A comparative study using a wide and representative variety of organisms with emphasis on marine and estuarine forms. Students taking this course may not receive credit for BIO 4475. Prerequisites: BIO 3400, CHEM 1084, AND PHYS 2092, or equivalent, or permission of instructor.
