BIO 5120 Introduction to Bioinformatics

An introduction to the data, computational methods and objectives of bioinformatics as they pertain to genes and proteins. Includes survey and use of protein and nucleic acid databases, sequence analysis software and biologival molecular model- ing. Computer laboratory excercises included. Prerequisites: Bio 5000, Math 5505(or equivalent)
