NURS 105 Nursing Pharmacology I

(Contact Hours: 1) This course focuses on the application of the nursing process to pharmacology including the principles of pharmacology and drug classifications that are commonly part of medical regimens. Students need prerequisite skills to perform mathematical calculations commonly encountered in drug therapy. The purpose of this course is to prepare the student or practitioner to apply the nursing process during drug administration. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of BIO 210 and admission to the nursing program are REQUIRED. Corequisite: NURS 100, NURS 102, and NURS 104.
