Master of Science in Accounting

The Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) program is designed to deepen students understanding of advanced-level accounting concepts and broaden their knowledge across multiple related fields. The MSA program prepares students for the certified public accountant (CPA) exam while fostering ethically minded professionals who possess critical thinking and analytical skills. The MSA program offers two options for completion. The accelerated 3+1 option is ideal for Elon accounting majors or other Elon majors with significant accounting undergraduate coursework. Students graduate with their bachelor’s degree and a Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) degree in four years. For the traditional 4+1 option, students complete their bachelor’s degree in accounting in four years and complete the MSA program during the fifth year.
