ASPP 5202 Advanced Sport and Performance Psychology
This culminating course will deepen students’ skills, knowledge of research, and theoretical approaches. The course will challenge students to think critically about research and how it impacts their work as practitioners, including debates on various topics. Case conceptualizations will examine more complex issues to cultivate emotional, cultural, and contextual intelligences. Students will explore the interconnectedness of concepts, theories, and techniques that go into an integrated consulting approach. Future directions of the field will also be covered.
