Architectural Design - Level II, Certificate
(Suggested Occupational Plan)
This program is the suggested degree plan to follow if a student wishes to seek a professional degree in the field of architecture starting in high school or any other early college program. This program was developed in conjunction with the Texas Society of Architects to create a dual credit pre-architecture program that consists of courses that will introduce students to the architectural professional and transfer into architecture programs at most universities in Texas. This curriculum is also the suggested coursework for those wishing to pursue a career in the Home Building Design Industry.
This certificate is suggested as an Early College Program. The prerequisite courses are intended to be taken in grades 10, 11, and 12 of high school.

This certificate plan includes courses from the THECB Architecture Field of Study course curricula (ARCH 1301, ARCH 1302, ARCH 1303, ARCH 1311, and ARCH 2312) and the THECB General Drafting Program of Study course curricula (DFTG 1305, DFTG 2319, and DFTG 2332).
