This course is a study of the American Welding Society D1.1 codebook. Interpretation of the codebook will emphasize prequalified structural joints.

Welding Associate of Applied Science: WLD 227 or WLD 228 or WLD 229, or concurrent enrollment in either WLD 227, WLD 228, or WLD 229.
Welding D1.1 FCAW/GMAW Certificate: WLD 228 or WLD 229, or concurrent enrollment in either WLD 228 or WLD 229.
Welding D1.1 SMAW Certificate: WLD 227 or concurrent enrollment.
General Welding Technology Certificate: WLD 228 or concurrent enrollment.
