WLD 210 Pipe Welding I*

This course is a closer look at fitting and welding various sizes of pipe according to the standards of the American Welding Society (AWS) and the American Petroleum Institute (API). Students weld pipe using the shield metal arc welding (SMAW) process in preparation for certification through API 1104 standards.

1 hour lecture, 4 hours laboratory.
