MSN Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist

MSN DEGREE REQUIREMENTS

Requirements for obtaining a MSN degree are: 

  • Successful completion of all course work (46 credits) with a B or higher grade in all graduate nursing courses. 

  • Passing each clinical rotation (660 hours) with satisfactory evaluations from the clinical preceptor and completed Typhon clinical encounter database.

  • Successful completion of the Capstone Project. 

Upon completion of the didactic, practicum and capstone degree requirements, the graduate will be awarded the Master of Science in Nursing and will be eligible to sit for national certification in their specialty area.
