CRJS 210 Introduction to Law Enforcement

This course explores the historical development of policing, reform efforts, and political and economic factors shaping American policing. The course traces the changes that have taken place across three broad reform periods within the service, while introducing the external, organizational, and individual factors that shape the delivery of services to communities.
