MFA 527 Educational Theory & Pedagogy in Arts

Students are introduced to foundational educational philosophies, theories, and pedagogical approaches in higher education and studio-based contexts. Through the lens of the visual, performing, and creative arts, students will critically examine teaching practices and develop their own teaching philosophy and artistic identity. (3 sem. hrs.)
