Withdrawal from Courses

Students wishing to withdraw from a course must submit a signed Withdrawal form after the official drop period, and up to and including the ‘last day to withdraw’ as published in the Academic Calendar (i.e., the Friday of the second week of the course).

A withdrawal form is available for this purpose in the Student Information System. Students are advised to consult with their instructors and the registrar prior to withdrawing from a course.

If a student withdraws in accordance with the criteria outlined above, a "W" for "withdrawn" will be assigned by The Office of Registrar in lieu of a grade on the WTU transcript. As per the Tuition Refund Schedule, unless the withdrawal is completed prior to the third class meeting, all charges for the class remain.

Students may not withdraw from classes that have already ended.
