Academic Advising
Advisement at WTU is a shared responsibility - with staff, faculty, and University administrators committed to helping students successfully transition to the University, make progress towards their educational goals, and ultimately graduate with the skills necessary to seek employment in their chosen field.
The Student Services Manager is the primary point of contact for students across all levels of the University, guiding students to appropriate resources - including human resources.
Early academic advisement by the Registrar will assist new students to:
- Identify and understand graduation requirements
- Build a plan for completing any requirements not previously addressed
- Discuss their academic plan for the first quarter
