This course will provide students with the opportunity to develop these skills, providing a conceptual basis and theoretical foundation in nursing leadership. Emphasis is placed on providing an understanding of the role of every nurse as a leader in promoting change, working in inter-professional teams, improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice, creating cultures of safety, and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in nursing practice.
