BIO 21400 Ornithology

This course will evaluate the roles of birds in ecosystems and how their adaptations and behavior allow them to play these ecological roles. Avian migration, navigation, population dynamics, systematics, and conservation will be covered. Scientific method and data analysis will be emphasized throughout the course. Field trips during labs will involve learning to identify birds by sight and sound.
