9.11 Interaction with Students

University personnel have a unique working environment at Rochester University. Each person is encouraged to mentor students by becoming an active part of the students’ lives. University personnel are role models—academically, spiritually, professionally, and socially. University personnel are encouraged to have students in their home for family dinners, fellowship, and encouragement. Students are influenced through each employee’s attitude and lifestyle.

All university employees are expected to protect and keep confidential all student records, Federal Privacy Act data, financial information, and any other similar student information which should be considered “personal or confidential.”
