NL345 Mental Health Nursing Clinical

This clinical course provides the student with opportunity to incorporate the theoretical and practical basis for mental health nursing. Students are challenged to examine their roles as baccalaureate-level nurses in providing health care services to persons affected by mental illness. Students will synthesize the evidence-based practice into providing quality mental health care to diverse populations. The clinical experiences provide students the opportunity to observe and utilize the nursing process as applied in various mental health settings. Clinical hours 68.
