NL331L Maternal Child Nursing Clinical (LPN)
This clinical course allows individuals to apply the nursing process caring for members of the childbearing family in multiple settings. Assisting the childbearing family with labor, delivery, post-partum and newborn care both in the simulation lab and the acute setting. Assessments will be performed on patients through the child bearing process, newborns and the pediatric population. Evaluations of children's developmental/physical progress and development of a teaching plan for an individualized child is experienced. Clinical hours 45.
